This book will be a “one time print”, 8” x 10.5”, soft spiral bound, approximately 80 page, black and white publication. This is being done in an actual yearbook format and is being printed by a recognized publisher. Once these books are sold, there will not be another printing. There may, however, be a similar 2007 yearbook published with all new material. Deadline for submissions is June 30, 2006.

Pricing is as follows:

Book price (includes standard USPS shipping)

$25.00 – Will put one ferret in the “mug shot page” (see example below) and one other picture (of our choice) in the candid/student life/clubs and organizations pages; or as described below, one memorial. For an additional $2.00 you can secure a spot for your ferret in school activities, (see submission form for details). Once the book has gone to print, there can be no refunds or changes. Book is expected to go to print sometime in the last week of August. Shipping will occur hopefully before December 15, 2006, (depending on publisher's schedule). Price per book is still $25.00 even if you do not enter a submission.

Additional ferrets can be included for the following prices:

$2.50 per additional ferret up to 4 additional ferrets, (five total).

$1.00 per ferret after 5 ferrets – this pricing is up to a total of 15 ferrets.

$25.00 – one book, shipping, one ferret

$5.00 – two additional ferrets @ $2.50 per ferret

total price = $30.00

(example – Pricing for 12 ferrets)

$25.00 – one book, shipping, one ferret

$10.00 – four additional ferrets @ $2.50 per ferret

$7.00 – seven additional ferrets @ $1.00 per ferret

total price = $42.00

(example – Pricing for 2 ferrets, each of them on the football team)

$25.00 – one book, shipping, one ferret

$2.50 – one additional ferret @ $2.50 per ferret

$4.00 – 2 ferrets in football @ $2.00 per ferret

total price = $31.50

We will be doing a bid process for other titles such as Head Cheerleader, Homecoming Queen, Homecoming King, Student Body President, Football Captain and Valedictorian. A portion of the proceeds from these bids will be donated to a recognized ferret shelter/rescue. Please contact us if you are interested in being part of the bidding (or check the box on the submission form) so we may let you know when the bid process will begin. If there are no bids on any of the above items at the time that the book will go to printing, we will randomly choose these honors. (at no cost to the selected ferret.)

We are also planning on having "memorial" pages for those little ones that have passed. This will include a photo and text of your choice. Size of tributes will be approximately 4" X 5". The tributes will include a photo of your choice of your ferret and a small tribute written by you, (100 characters max.). Memorial ferrets will be included in the memorial section only.

Book will be divided into 4 classes, (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior).

SUBMITTED INFORMATION:

Rest assured that any information submitted WILL NOT be used for any other purpose or given to any other entity. Contact information will only be used for contacting you for further information or to let you know that shipping, etc., has occurred. Because we are expecting a large number of submissions and correspondence, PLEASE be sure to include your full name with any messages or items sent so we may be able to keep track.

PHOTO SUBMISSIONS

Note: All photos submitted become the property of Marta Mitchell and will not be returned. Photos will not be re-used or re-produced for any other reason.

I will need at least 3 CLEAR photos of each ferret. These need to be at least a resolution of at least 150 dpi, and the ferrets head needs to be about 3” high (one from the front, and at least one more from the side, or from ¾ view) You are welcome to submit more than 3 photos. The better the photo, the better the final results will be. No costuming will be necessary, and will be easier without.

AUTOGRAPHS

If you would like your ferret to be included in the “autograph” page, you will need to sign their name and either snail mail it to us, or scan it and send it to us.

ADVERTISEMENTS

If you would like to advertise your own business, shelter, or other ferret related “stuff,” you can buy ad space in the back of our book. Ad size will be approximately 3 ½” X 4” (size of a business card) Pricing will be $20.00. Ad price does not include a copy of the yearbook.
