On Saturday, March 1, 2008, the
Desert Fox Flyers of Mesquite, Nevada, were gracious enough to host another
"Just for Fun" pylon race. The field included not only members
of the host club, but also members of the Remote Possibilities RC Club of St.
George, Utah, and the Cedar City Radio Control Club of Cedar City, Utah.
There were 14 registered pilots
and 18 registered aircraft. The weather was cooperative and the day turned
out very good. We were able to run two full rounds with a total of 14
heats in just under 3 hours. The racing was very exciting and
entertaining and a big thanks goes out to all who helped and participated.
