The Southern Utah Pylon Racing Association held it's first race of the 2010 season on March 20.  

This event saw the first try at the new rules for the 2010 season which included the introduction of 1 new class as well as revamping an old class for a total of 4 classes under the new format.

The event was hosted by the Remote Possibilities RC Club and was held at their new flying site in St. George, Utah.  We were able to complete 3 rounds in 4 classes in just over 3 1/2 hours.

The weather was perfect for racing even though it was bit chilly in the morning but turned into a great St. George Spring day.  There was very little wind and very good skies for the race.

The start of the race was slowed somewhat by a few technical issues with the matrix and scoring system but once that was resolved, the racing went on with very few problems.

There were a total of 13 registered pilots and 21 registered aircraft in the four classes.  The three clubs involved, (Remote Possibilities, St. George, Ut., The Desert Fox Flyers, Mesquite, Nv. and the Cedar City Radio Control Club, Cedar City, Ut.) had good representation at the event.

A big thanks to all who helped and participated and we are looking forward to another great season of competitive racing.
