The Southern Utah Pylon Racing Association held it's 2017 Season Opener race on March 25, 2017.

The event was hosted by the Remote Possibilities RC Club and was held at their flying site In St. George, Utah.  

There were 3 rounds completed in 3 classes in just over 3 hours.  

There were a no incidents resulting the loss of any airframes and overall it turned out to be a great day.

The weather was not very cooperative as it was very cool and the skies were overcast all day, but there was very little wind.  There were a few moments of rain and at one time it caused about a 45 minute delay but once it passed, racing resumed and the day ended well.

There were a total of 8 registered pilots and 12 registered aircraft in the three classes.

A great big thanks to the St. George club and all those who participated and especially to those who came out to help from the Cedar City and St. George clubs.
