The Southern Utah Pylon Racing Association
held it's season finale race of the 2013 season on November 09, 2013.
The event
was hosted by the Remote Possibilities RC Club of St. George, Utah and was held at their
flying site.
There
were 4 rounds completed in 3 classes in just over 2 1/2 hours.
It
was a great day for racing. The weather was absolutely perfect for a day
of racing with no wind at all and temperatures in the low to mid '70's. There was one serious
mid air collision resulting in the loss of an airframe and a few other minor incidents.
There were a
total of 8 registered pilots with 12 registered aircraft in the three classes.
A
great big thanks goes out to the St. George club for being such great hosts and
for all their help throughout the year.
