The Southern Utah Pylon Racing Association
held it's 2016 Season Finale on Saturday, November 19, 2016.
The event
was hosted by the Remote Possibilities RC Club and was held at their flying site
In St. George, Utah.
There
were 3 rounds completed in 3 classes in just over 3 1/2 hours. The racing
was close and exciting and there was only one incident resulting in a damaged
airframe.
The
weather was exceptional, although it started out a bit cool in the morning the
temps came up to the mid 70's and there was no wind which made it a great day of
racing.
There were a
total of 10 registered pilots and 19 registered aircraft in the three classes.
A
great big thanks to all those who were there and to those who came
out to help, not only for this race but throughout the year making it another
great season of racing.
