Update 01_11

These pictures were all taken the morning of January 11, 2007 at the flying site showing the progress that was made. It was cold and windy, but that didn't stop the County and BLM workers from getting things started.
This picture shows the cleared area of the parking lot. The truck in the background is located in the far Northeast corner of the parking lot.

View from basically the center of the cleared parking area. The green post sits where the center line will be on the east side of the runway.

A picture of both of the graders that were on site. The pile in the photo is the brush that was cleared from the area. The graders are sitting approximately where the parking lot meets the east side of the runway, basically where the pit area is to be located. Notice the excellent job the operators did to clear around the trees.
