| We have now officially had some successful flights from the new field. The debris piles from the runway and parking area were done being removed on Friday, May 25, 2007. A few of the club members met at the field on Saturday, May 26, and did a quick walk around to remove some of the bigger rocks and sticks. We then had a couple of our flyers fly and also had a small group go out Sunday and Monday, (May 27 and May 28), for more flying. The runway has a LONG way to go before it is complete, but it is decent enough at the moment. | |
