The 2016 Southern Utah Pylon Racing Associations West Desert Challenge was held on June 04, 2016.

The event was hosted by the Remote Possibilities R/C Club and was held at their flying site St. George, Utah.  

There were 4 rounds completed in 4 classes in just over 3 hours.  It was another great day of racing and we were fortunate to welcome a few flyers from out of the area, two from the Las Vegas area and two from Bullhead City, AZ; thanks to them for making the trip!

There were several incidents causing the loss of a few airframes but it was a good time overall.

The weather made for a hot day of racing, there was very little wind but the temperatures ended up hitting triple digits before the event was over.

There were a total of 13 registered pilots and 17 registered aircraft in the 4 classes.

As always a great big thanks to all those who were there and especially to those who came out to help.
