On Saturday, August 4, 2007, a few flyers from the area got together and held a very informal pylon race. There were 5 registered pilots and many others that came out to help. The weather cooperated and it turned out to be a great day for racing. The race was promoted as a "Just for Fun" event and as such there was no entry fee and no real clear cut winner. However, we tried to set it up, (field layout, timing, scoring, etc.), as if it were being ran in the same manner as if it was a real race.
Below are the "official" results of this un-official race. All who were involved had a great time and hopefully we can do it again real soon. If you would like to be involved in any future races, please send an E-mail to bmitchell@miners-peak.com or to punzil03@yahoo.com.
