| March, 2011 | The club applied for and was once again awarded Gold Leader Club status. |
| February, 2010 | The club applied for and was awarded Gold Leader Club status. This is a big step for the club and its members. |

The club is sad to report the passing of Leonard L. Bayless. Leonard was one of the founding members of the club and during that time served in many capacities, including President, Secretary, and mostly as the unofficial club historian. Throughout his time with the club Leonard was very active in club activities and was even though his health was not cooperative, was almost always the first to volunteer. Leonard will be sorely missed by all who knew him. |
| February 26, 2009 | In February, 2009 the club applied for and was awarded Silver Leader Club status by the AMA. Leader club awards are given to clubs who meet specific criteria from a club and flying site standpoint. District 10 Associate Vice President Greg Clemensen was gracious enough to attend our February club meeting and present the award to the club. Click here for more information. |
