The Remote Possibilities Radio
Control Club of St. George, Utah, held their February Fun-Fly on
February 21, 22, and 23, 2003. The event brought some of the most
outstanding pilots from all over the area, as well as some of the finest
aircraft ever built. A total of over 100 pilots participated
throughout the 3 day event and had approximately 300 to 400 spectators. |
A snapshot of the Fun-fly as it was in full
swing. As can be seen, there were many pilots and a tremendous
number of planes. Pine Valley mountain is shown in the background. |

A good shot looking North up the flight line.
This is a good depiction of the many sizes and styles of planes that
were present. |
A good collection of scale planes, one of
many seen during the event. |
|
|
An excellent scale replica of a B-29 being
readied for flight. For anyone who saw this plane fly, it was a
real spectacle. |
Looking south along the flight
line. |

|
Another good look at the flight line. As you can
see, the facility is top notch, not only giving pilots a wonderful place
to fly, but also boasts some of the most spectacular scenery in the
area. |
